Rebuilding Your Smile
Restorative Dentistry at Complete Family Dental
We believe everyone deserves a healthy smile! Dr. Capra and Team enjoy helping our patients overcome dental health challenges. Whether it is appearance flaws that may make you feel embarrassed about your smile, broken or missing teeth, poorly fitting dentures, or old, discolored dental work - we are here to help.
Planning for Comprehensive Dental Care
The first step to rebuilding your smile to proper health begins with a complete dental examination. During this appointment, your dentist will thoroughly evaluate your teeth, gums and oral structures by visual examination, supported by photos and digital x-rays.
Following a thorough assessment, Dr. Capra will review their findings and recommendations with you. If you have teeth in need of repair or replacement, we will review options and help you prioritize your treatment to develop a plan of action.
We provide a comprehensive range of Restorative Services, including:
Fillings & Crowns
When tooth enamel is destroyed by decay or trauma, the damaged areas are removed and the tooth structure is rebuilt to healthy function by placing a dental filling, inlay/onlay or crown.
Root Canals
If the nerve of the tooth is damaged or infected, a root canal procedure is necessary. During a root canal, the infected tooth nerve is removed and the root chamber or ‘canal’ is cleaned, disinfected and sealed, leaving the tooth structure intact. A protective restoration, such as a dental crown or bridge, is recommended following a root canal to add strength to the tooth and help prevent fracture.
Dental Implants
One or more dental implants may serve as a foundation for a restoration to replace a missing tooth, such as an implant crown, bridge, or a complete or partial denture. Dr. Capra places and restores dental implants for his patients in our Phenix City practice.

CEREC® Same-Day Dentistry
Dr. Capra has integrated CEREC® CAD-CAM technology into his restorative practice. CEREC® employs 3D digital imaging and production technology to design and create natural-looking crowns, bridges and implant restorations in-office while you wait.

Tooth Replacement with Bridges, Partials & Complete Dentures
When a tooth is missing, it is important to replace it in order to protect the bite and avoid damage to other teeth. A fixed bridge attaches to adjacent teeth or a dental implant to close the space left by one or more missing teeth.
Dentures and partial dentures are removable appliances, or ‘false’ teeth that replace multiple missing teeth. Dental implants are often used to help secure dentures in place. Dr. Capra designs custom dentures with an esthetic approach, so you can enjoy worry-free dentures that give you a photo-ready smile!
Restorative Dental Treatment
Rebuilding your smile begins with making sure your mouth is free of disease. If we detect signs of periodontal disease, extensive tooth decay or infection we will recommend treating these conditions with periodontal therapy or other emergency dental care as a top priority. With the mouth in a manageable state, we can begin restoring function to your teeth and bite.
Restorative & Implant Dentistry offers a wide range of solutions for multiple dental challenges.
