Enhance Your Smile with Cosmetic Dentistry

Our smile is one of the first things people notice about us. Today's cosmetic treatments offer the opportunity to make changes, or even design your new smile to help you feel assured and confident when you are speaking, eating or laughing.

We believe you deserve a smile you can feel great about! Common smile challenges that may be addressed with cosmetic dentistry include:

  • Stained or chipped teeth
  • Crooked teeth or teeth that are oddly shaped
  • Missing teeth
  • Discolored or broken dental work
  • Uneven gums or ‘gummy’ smile

Teeth Whitening

The whitening process lifts away stains on teeth caused by drinking coffee, wine or tea,or tobacco use. Whitening treatments can also help lighten tooth discoloration caused by medications.

Ingredients in professional dental whitening solutions are safe and effective, and teeth whitening is an economical way to brighten your smile in a short amount of time.

Our in-office whitening system may be used to lighten your teeth by several shades in one appointment. We also offer custom whitening trays and gel to use at home; for initial whitening we recommend wearing the trays filled with whitening solution for about 20 minutes per day for 2-3 weeks. Whitening trays are also easily used for touch-ups to keep your smile looking bright.

Custom Porcelain Veneers

Veneers are custom porcelain facings placed over teeth to conceal minor chips, cracks or shape flaws. Veneers are often used in conjunction with dental crowns or implant restorations to complete a smile makeover. The artistic design capabilities of dental veneers are virtually unlimited, and allow our dentists to create a whole new look for your smile!

Cosmetic "White" Fillings or Dental Bonding

Small areas of tooth decay or chipped edges of teeth can often be repaired using composite materials. Dental composite is made up of biocompatible plastics available in shades to match natural teeth.

Because the dental bonding process uses an adhesive technique, the dentist is able to remove only the necessary amount of tooth structure to shape the area being treated, allowing for conservative restorations. Dental bonding may also be used to close minor gaps between teeth and is frequently applied on a temporary basis during the planning phase of a smile makeover.

Dental Implants

Missing teeth not only make patients embarrassed about their smile, tooth loss presents a risk to dental health due to reduced biting and chewing function.

Dental implants may be used as replacement tooth ‘roots’, which may be restored with a crown, bridge, or a removable partial or complete denture to rebuild a smile. Dental implants have become a standard procedure for tooth replacement and for securing dentures.
